Al Zahra Hospital in Medina, under the supervision of the Patient Experience Department and in cooperation with the Saudi Environmental Protection Company (SEPC), held an introductory and training lecture on how to handle medical waste and the proper ways to protect the environment. The lecture was attended by a number of specialized personnel from hospitals, centers, and private medical complexes in Medina.
Mr. Abdul Razzaq Abu Bakr Muhammad, the training officer at (SEPCO), gave a comprehensive explanation of the dangers posed by not applying the correct procedures for environmental protection from medical waste. At the end of the lecture, a certificate of thanks and appreciation was presented to him by Mr. Marwan Al-Barjas, a member of the Board of Directors of Al Zahra Hospital.
